Travel, done well, has a way of waking something up in you, the part that existed before your inbox, your to-do lists, your endless obligations. The part of you that is just delighted to be alive somewhere beautiful.

I know you want to feel fully immersed in a place - not just passing through it. A hotel room so delicious, that it makes you want to live there, feet up on the balcony watching the sun set over the city with a cheese only found there and a glass of wine to match it, at a dim candle-lit corner table where the food and the service are absolutely extraordinary without being fussy, on a rainy street where everything is sparkling and moody at the same time.

That's what I plan for. Slow travel, curious travel, comfortable travel with attention to all the little details that make a trip feel like yours alone.

I'm Aoife (ee-fah), your travel advisor specializing in Europe (Amsterdam, London, Paris) and the Pacific Northwest.

I am obsessed with lush, gorgeous hotels. Train travel is my favorite way to go (especially if there is a first-class lounge with Prosecco involved). Food is my love language. And I will absolutely tell you about my favorite grocery stores (and bookstores and perfume shops, and that one witch shop that has the best tarot decks that you have to visit!)
